intuitPaint

The beauty of abstact paintings is its invitation to dance with formlessness.  In the formlessness of the big blank canvas and brillant colors and tools at your mercy, your most potent guides in life, rise up to greet you.  Curiosity and Enthusiasm arise when you feel safe, relaxed and there is spaciousness just to be.  Your  inate intelligent impulses began to direct you.  It can be as simple as I want to use that brush, that color or make that line.  Our spirits, the magic of our beings are  fed when we play in the unknown, the formless. Indeed, it is the only place spirit  can awaken.   Formlessness is not about chaos, paint flying everywhere, although sometimes that can happen, it is much more subtle.   However the canvas completes itself, in the end you have  mirrored back to you that safety is found in taking risks.   Your paintings become   seeds planted  along  a well worn path, every inch known by you, every painting a risk, an  aliveness.  A wonderful reminder that with just a little effort you are given everything.
